thirds of the island is the Virgin Islands National Park, so its
spectacular beaches and untouched forests will remain that way

are tours of the National Park by Jeep or safari bus and hikes
on spectacular trails led by Park Rangers who enrich the
experience with talks on the island's history and geology as
well as its flora and fauna. Frequent visitors to St. John are

and beach access is suitable for boating, canoeing and kayaking
which can be rented nearby. The beach on site is accessible for
scuba and snorkeling. You can walk to the beach in 3 to 4
minutes from the house or drive your car with-in several feet of
the beach for offloading of gear. Expansive reef starting ten
feet offshore. Water depths from 3 feet sloping gradually to 100
feet plus within several hundred yards. Visibility varies up to
100 feet plus. Point to left of beach has drop off for wall
diving. Within several minutes by boat to 'The Indians', the
'Wreck of the Rhone' and the 'Caves' of Norman Island. |
