This
beautiful beach house is
located in the Northwestern
providence of Guanacaste on
the Nicoya peninsula in
Costa Rica. The home is
situated on the Pacific
Ocean beach of Playa Potrero
and overlooks the bay of
Potrero. Near by, about one
mile south, is the tourist
town of Flamingo with it’s
soon to be new marina.
Flamingo now has a new city
center plaza. Also, one mile
north is the small town of
Potrero.
This fully titled
double beach front lot is a
1/3 of an acre and has
almost 100 feet of beach
front. The lot is 161 feet
deep. Total square footage
of the lot is 15,223 or
1414.79 square meters.
Construction began in June
2000 and was completed in
March of 2001. The house is
just under 6,000 square
feet.
The two story beach
house has seven rooms, five
downstairs and two upstairs.
All have private bathrooms
with hot water and four of
the five rooms downstairs
have air conditioning, which
were just cleaned and
serviced. Also four of the
rooms downstairs have their
own terraces overlooking the
pool, our beautiful gardens,
the beach and spectacular
sunsets. All of the rooms
are fully furnished and have
new tinted windows in the
bathrooms. The fifth room
downstairs has new paint and
windows as well. Upstairs
living area has a guest room
with a private bathroom and
private stairway.
The main living area has a
kitchen, dining room, office
and living room areas. In
the kitchen there is a new
gas stove and has all new
copper gas lines to the
stove. Also, a new
refrigerator, coffee maker
and sink facet. The master
bedroom has a walk-in closet
and private terrace with a
new roof. The entire
upstairs has just been
painted and has a new air
conditioner and has all new
tinted glass windows through
out. New ceiling fans are
in the master bedroom,
living area and guest room.
The balcony runs the full
length of the building
facing the ocean with a new
BBQ. The house is set up
with a secured high speed
wire less internet.
Downstairs has a
laundry room with a new
front loader washer and
dryer and sink. There are
two large storage rooms, one
downstairs and one
upstairs. The building has
two septic tanks, one 1,900
liter and the other one is
2,800 liter. These tanks
were pumped and cleaned this
year. There is a fresh water
holding tank which is
pressurized, keeping
constant water pressure.
This tank was drained and
cleaned last year.
The property is
beautifully landscaped with
fruit trees producing
oranges, limes, plantains,
bananas, coconuts, star
fruit and more. A new
sprinkler system has been
installed. Beachside of the
house has a beautiful pool,
a rancho with a full
kitchen. Included in the
rancho are a sink,
refrigerator, BBQ, gas stove
and bar. The entire
property is fenced and a
large wood gate at the south
end of the building. |
